God has blessed Mt. Zion with a mixture of staff and volunteers who all faithfully serve in our church. Below will be some familiar faces you might see around. Feel free to stop us and say hi!
Senior Pastor
Dr. Rhyne Putman joined Mt. Zion's historical list of faithful men called to lead our church in August of 2021. Rhyne is a bi-vocational pastor for Mt. Zion so his day job is serving as the AVP for Academic Affairs, Director of Worldview Formation, and Professor of Christian Ministries at Williams Baptist College. Rhyne graduated from Williams in 2005 and went on to earn an M.Div. and Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he went on to serve on theology faculty.
Rhyne is a book writer, podcast guest, and speaker at seminaries and conferences across the U.S. In addition to his God breathed talents he is a faithful husband and father of two children.

Amber is one of the most beloved faces at Mt. Zion. You will be hard pressed to find a more faithful, loving, and kind person who leads our childrens department. Amber will love on and care for every child at Mt. Zion and we are blessed to have her.
